This heavy-duty Stainless Steel Tool/Rod Rest has a V-shaped design that allows you to safely rest hot mandrels, glass rods and tools on your work surface for easy access. This popular tool keeps the hot ends up and your hands cool. 7 ½ in. long.
*At soft-glass annealing temps, I have used this inside my kilns to rest the mandrels on during batch-annealing cycles. Not tested at boro annealing temps, so you're on your own there. :) |
